Farm to Tabor: Communal Dining Experience | Saturday, December 5
Saturday, December 5 | 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM EST | Tabor Hill Winery & Restaurant
Gather around the table for a winter edition of Farm to Tabor, an immersive communal dining experience where exceptional food, Tabor Hill wines, and meaningful conversation come together around one shared table.
Hosted at Tabor Hill Winery & Restaurant, this intimate shared dining experience invites guests to slow down, connect, and experience the season through a thoughtfully curated multi-course menu inspired by the farms, ingredients, and flavors of the Midwest. Each course celebrates seasonality and thoughtful sourcing while exploring the connection between the land, the kitchen, and the glass.
Every dish will be thoughtfully paired with Tabor Hill wines, giving guests the opportunity to experience how food and wine complement one another while discovering the distinctive character of the Lake Michigan Shore AVA.
For this special Farm to Tabor experience, we welcome Guest Chef Joe Frillman, Executive Chef and Owner of Radicle Food Group, which includes Daisies in Chicago. Known for his vegetable-forward, pasta-driven cooking, Frillman has built Daisies around a deeply seasonal and sustainable approach to food, shaped in part by his close relationship with his brother Tim and Frillman Farms in Southwest Michigan.
That connection makes this dinner especially meaningful. Tabor Hill sources much of its produce from Frillman Farms, bringing ingredients grown just miles from the winery directly into our kitchen throughout the season. For this Farm to Tabor dinner, that relationship comes full circle as Chef Joe joins our culinary team to create a menu inspired by the very farm that helps supply both kitchens.
Frillman’s cooking philosophy is rooted in simplicity, preservation, seasonality, and knowing where ingredients come from. His approach aligns naturally with Farm to Tabor’s focus on celebrating the growers, chefs, winemakers, and producers who shape the food and wine culture of Southwest Michigan.
From winter produce and thoughtfully sourced ingredients to wines crafted from the surrounding region, Farm to Tabor is a celebration of the connection between farm, kitchen, vineyard, and table.
